Poor little Wesley has to get some blood work done today. It ended up being quite the trip going to the wrong place then calling to find out where I am suppose to go, and dealing with the dowtown morning traffic (we left the house at 9:30 and got home at 11:30). Well we finally made it! Wesley sat in my lap while they got everything ready. They held his arm and I was in charge of the rest of him. At first he was happy with the strangers but then came the POKE! Not a fan! I don't blame him. Plus he has viens like me, they roll away when they are messed with. They got a little blood for one of the tests but they needed more. Next stop the other arm. As soon as they pulled up his sleeve up he was screaming, he knew what was next. I was not a fan of this whole experience either, it was tramatic for the both of us. (He seems to already be over the whole thing)I tried to sing to him but I am sure he could not hear me over his screaming. After it was all over he got a sugar free sucker and a sticker, the world was better once again. Larry Boy sticker too... good job lab on choosing stickers. He ate the whole sucker, and loved it. He definately deserved that treat.

The sucker was well deserved and I am glad that you let him have one. Even after all of that it proves that he is the cutes baby.
My niece Hope is a crack up! She has to get tests done a lot and so she is really used to getting poked. She is the BRAVEST kid ever. Anyway, one time Heather (Hopes mom) came into the kitchen to find Hope with a turkey baster under her arm pit. It was so funny, because that it how they take her temperature in the hospital. Only they don't use a turkey baster!
