I don't have anything spectacular to report. Wesley is getting better at his words everyday. He makes us laugh. He tries to sing:)! Every morning I am greeted with "HI! Huggy... " then he gives me a hug. It is so sweet the first thing he wants to do it hug. That too is the first thing I want to do, hug him!
The things he catches onto cracks us up. We laugh a lot. I would like to think that if these walls could talk they wouldn't be able to report anything because the laughter is too loud... or is that yelling... I'll get back to you on that. Anyways the other day in his car seat he had his stuffed Maggie puppy and he was saying "No", "Stop It...", "Maggie", "No" on and on... it was making me laugh. He's done this before and every time I find it so amusing. His car seat time is funny. He is so good in the car. Sometimes the whole time he is in the car is reading himself a story, he adjusts his voice and everything. Wish I understood the story he was telling, it sounds really good.
I know I have said this before but his memory amazes me. I have no other child to compare him to so in my book he is Brilliant! The other day on the way to the sitters house he says "Achey?" (ashlee). I said "Yes, Wesley we are going to Ashlee's". Impressed that he knew the drive. Mind you he doesn't go to Ashlee's everyday, lately it seems different every day. The next week during the drive the whole way from 99 to her house (out by work a good 15-20 minutes) he would periodically say:
Wesley: "Momma?"
Wesley: "Momma?"
Me: "yes Wesley..."
Wesley: "Achey?"
Me: " Yes, you are going to Ashlees."
...A few minutes later.
Wesley: "Momma?... Achey?, Park?"
and it goes on and on. He kept asking about Ashlee & the park. I dropped him off and told her apparently he wanted to be her to take him to the park. Funny.

He is also learning his colors. Tonight we did his stacking ring toy and he got all but one of the color right. I requested that he pick up the blue one, he did it, yellow and so on... I was quite impressed. We do play with these rings often and go over the colors so that he learns them. It is so rewarding to see it sink in. He even picked out purple on his own in one of his books the other day. I didn't think colors were something they learned at this age... oh well I will take it:)!
